“Chase” – He’s NEXT in the line of champion and obedience titled dogs here at Southcross!  I was NOT in the market for a new dog – and certainly not a black and silver, when Chase came into my life.  Chase’s breeder had the litter of two in an expen at a show and asked if I would like to take a look at the pups to evaluate them.  I pulled out the salt and pepper female first – as salt and pepper is my color preference.  Then I pulled out that little black and silver male.  He never went back!  There was something very special about Chase and I have yet to be disappointed.  He’s exactly 14 inches tall with an absolutely gorgeous natural black, rock-hard coat, lovely head and ear set and good shoulders!   He is very short-backed and has a high tail set.  But above all this is his best characteristic…. his temperament.  Chase is very bright, eager to please, and always game for any activity!  He’s quick, agile and built like an athlete.  In his first 8 obedience trials, he scored in the mid to high 190’s, busted once, and had one all breed High In Trial!  He is quiet until training time is over and he knows it’s “toy time”.  Chasing after toys is his favorite pastime.  Chase is the breed's only Top Producer to have a championship title and the U.D. obedience title; not to mention the R.N. title!
