All of us have known at one time or another that inexplicable restlessness of the heart, that sense of mystery that calls to us both in joy and in sorrow. To know God in love is life's ultimate call and meaning.

The Spiritual Renewal Center was founded in 1978 to promote evangelization and adult formation in Christian spirituality. It has evolved into a diverse ministry of service to believers and seekers throughout central New York, and beyond. We are open for drop-in visitors Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Summer hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The wide variety of programs offered at the Center includes presentations, workshops, and courses on scripture and various aspects of Christian spirituality, and days and evenings of renewal. Personal spiritual direction is available by appointment for those who desire a deeper knowledge of God, or who are looking for a spiritual perspective on life issues. We also offer a nine-month basic and advanced mentoring program for the training of spiritual directors, and occassional seminars in spiritual direction for directors seeking ongoing training. Don't forget to check out the Center's library- over 7,000 books including the great spiritual classics as well as contemporary Christian authors- all available for loan, as well as some excellent cassette tapes and videos. The Spiritual Renewal Center is also home to a gift shop featuring beautiful handcrafted items made by artisans in developing countries.

The Center keeps people informed of its offerings through an attractive newsletter sent bi-monthly to any interested person. Call 315 472-6546 or email the center and ask to be put on the mailing list! email us

The Spiritual Renewal Center is a non-profit, religious organization which depends on free-will offerings for its existence. We invite you to make a tax-deductible gift to support this good work!
