New York State

Elementary Level Assessment

Results

Each year elementary level students throughout New York State take tests to assess their abilities in English Language Arts and Mathematics.  These test scores are used to hold schools accountable for student performance and provide information for teachers and school administrators to use in planning instructional programs for students.

The chart below represents the 2009 results of St. Pius Tenth School and other area school districts as posted on the New York State Education Department's Website (http://www.nysed.gov)  for fourth and sixth grade students.
