Welcome to Voyagers! Headquarters
The "Unofficial" VOYAGERS! Home Page
04 Oct 2008 - Yes, I've finally gotten off my fanny and
done some updating. Nothing fancy but you shouldn't find broken links
anymore.
A new Voyagers! site is out there and well worth a journey to.
Voyagers!
Guidebook has it all; vidcaps, photos, quizzes, art and so much
more.
Greetings, fellow Voyagers! When this website began almost
10 years ago, I never dreamt there'd be such phenomenal response. Just goes
to prove, we baby boomers do love reminiscing. Two years ago, I'd promised
to retire this, possibly the original, Voyagers! site but couldn't
bring myself to remove it from cyberspace. So, I've done some housecleaning,
spruced the place a bit up. If you've been here before, you'll notice there
is no longer a Forum. It was a tough decision to make but, after trying to
referee too much bickering among posters, it was the only logical and sane
thing to do.
This site has become more than just an unofficial home page. It has become
the Headquarters for all things Voyagers!. Other than updating all
the external links, there really isn't much new content. You'll still
find incredible
fan
fiction with each story printer friendly (no black background). I urge
you to read the
FAQ
before emailing me with questions. The navigation bar is on each page and
will take you anywhere within the site and, except for the external links,
all pages will open in a new window.
If you find Voyagers! links I've missed or have more information,
please email me. This site
is for you, the fans and without you, this site would not be here. Thank
you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support.
BRIEF VOYAGERS! HISTORY
Voyagers! premiered on NBC on October 3, 1982. In the
era of shows like The A-Team , Knight Rider, Alf, Punky
Brewster and Family Ties, Voyagers! was very unique. It
not only showed history as it might have been but also that it is possible
for adults and children to be genuine friends. Each week, Phineas and Jeffrey
found themselves faced with another challenge that usually required only
quick wit and brains to solve. From riding with Billy the Kid to holding
court with Queen Victoria, the Voyagers seldom ran into any situation where
brawn won over brains.
Since Voyagers! left the airwaves in 1983, shows like Time Trax
and Quantum Leap have fed our "need" for time travel. All of these shows
stand on their own merit as excellent examples of what one person is capable
of doing. However, at least to me, Voyagers! remains the most
endearing.
