Koi Koi House Project - Jinja, Uganda 

July-August 2010 Onsite Project Needs List

Monetary donations to purchase larger building equipment, tools, and supplies needed to construct the Koi Kio House. Donations can be made to the general funding of those expenses or to something more specific such as:

  • Chickens - Continuous supply of eggs full of protein for the children. $5 
  • Goat - Dairy goat milk for growing children. Fertilizer from goats can be used in gardens. $60 
  • Adult Pig - A prolific producer! Great source of protein. One healthy sow can produce as many as 20 piglets a year. $85 
  • Baby Pig. $30 
  • Emergency Food fund for the children. $50 
  • 5 Fruit trees. $30 
  • Mosquito nets. $15 
  • Basic needs package for the street children - new shirt, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, small food items, writing materials, shoes, hats. $25

Clothing - NEW CLOTHING ONLY.

  • Children's T-shirts: sized 12-16 
  • Boys shorts and belts: sizes 8-16 
  • Girls longer (knee length or longer) skirts: sizes 8-16 
  • Children's sandals/CROCS - larger sizes 
  • Women's skirts, knee length or longer: size 6-8 with elastic waistband 
  • Women's blouses - size 6-8 or M 
  • Men's long pants - smaller waist sizes 
  • Men's shirts - size M to L 
  • Underwear - teen boys and girls 
  • Baseball hats
