The objectives of the Southwest Intercollegiate Fencing Assocation (S.W.I.F.A.) are:
- To promote, encourage, and develop the sport of collegiate fencing in Texas;
- To provide local competitions and tournaments for collegiate fencers in Texas;
- To assist individual member fencers and member teams in reaching their full potential in the sport of fencing whether as competitors, coaches, armorers, or referees.
