    Links to Software Sites

    If you do not have a database in which to store your data or wish to publish your data on the Internet, the following FREE programs may be useful. They are all full-featured databases. They can import and export GEDCOM files to other programs.

  • LDS PAF
  • Later-day Saint's Personal Ancestral File program. The last time I checked it was a Microsoft Windows compatible program only.
  • GRAMPS
  • GRAMPS is intended to work with LINUX, Windows, and MAC. I have only used it with Ubuntu LINUX.
  • GenJ
  • GenJ is a JAVA program that should run on any Operating System (MAC, LINUX, Windows, etc.) that supports JAVA.
