AYTE Challenge Rules
- The AYTE Challenge will consist of 25 caches
- Caches will be published from March 1st - August 22nd 2009, one per week
- Caches will be published on various days of the week and times of the day at places distributed around the greater Rochester area
- Caches will consist of traditional, multi and puzzle/mystery cache types of varying sizes, terrains and difficulties
- Caches can be found at any point during the AYTE Challenge and don't have to be done in any particular order
- Cachers do not have to find all AYTE Challenge caches to win
- The AYTE Challenge ends on Sept 11th at 12pm
- No hints will be given out to an AYTE Challenge cache for a period of one week following the publication of the cache (assuming the cache has already been found in this period). No hints will be given out until the FTF.
- Each cache will contain a log book with numbered entries
- The log book entry position determines the number of points awarded to a cacher for that cache (see AYTE Challenge Scoring)
- Only one cacher per numbered entry (i.e. there are no ties)
- Online cache page log should contain the entry position number from the log book (this is to make it easier for me to do intermediary scoring and may come into play if the log book is lost)
- In the case when a log book is lost for a cache, points will be awarded based on online cache page logs with position number
- Log books will be collected on Sept 11th at 12pm
- Points for all AYTE Challenge caches will be totaled and the cacher with the most points is the AYTE Challenge winner
- There is only ONE individual winner (i.e. no team play)
- Large-sized "Lammy" awarded to the cacher with the most FTF's on AYTE Challenge caches
- Prize awarded to each cacher who completes all AYTE Challenge caches
- This is the "Taz" challenge series so be prepared
- Most of all have fun!!
