    (University of Chicago Press reprinted the book in 1968. It is a singularly useful reference about monetary conditions during the Civil War. Tables list wages throughout the county. A discussion of cents in circulation can be found on pages 165 to 173.)

    (This accessible catalog, part of Krause's continuing Standard Catalog series, lists the most common type of each issuer. It is a the product of a cooperative publishing venture by Krause and the Civil War Token Society.)
