Housefilks
Every once in a while we get together at somebody's house and do this. No con membership fee, no badge to get in, no drunk hotel guests trying to figure out what all these weird people are doing. Just a bunch of friends singing and playing.
We're trying to do this more often. If you're interested in hosting a housefilk,

mailing list proposing a time and place.
