The Pegasus nominees concert

Michael LongcorJeff and Maya Bohnhoff
On the left is Michael Longcor, performing the 2003 Pegasus winner for Best Filk Song, "Shooting Star," his tribute to the Columbia astronauts. He'll be at FenCon in September. On the right are Jeff and Maya Bohnhoff, performing their 2003 Pegasus winner for Best Parody, "Knight's in White Satin" (yes, that apostrophe is where it's supposed to be). They'll also be at FenCon is September. If I'd known at the time that Carla Ulbrich was going to be at FenCon, I'd have got a picture of her too. She doesn't have a Pegasus-nominated song, though. Yet. (Memo to self: Next time, if you're going to take pictures, sit in the front row.)
Bill and Gretchen Roper

Bill and Gretchen Roper perform the 2003 Pegasus winner for Best Original Humorous Song, "My Husband the Filker." If they're going to FenCon, I haven't heard about it yet.

Juanita Coulson and Cat Faber
Juanita Coulson plays Nanny Ogg as Cat Faber sings "Terror Time in Lancre" by Juliane Honisch. Cat won the Best Composer Pegasus this year. I didn't, alas, get a picture of Dandelion Wine, who won the Best Performer award.

A Year and a Day perform
Listeners at the groups filk circleAbove, A Year and a Day (left to right: Gwen Knighton, Teresa and George Powell, Brenda and Bill Sutton) perform at the groups filk circle Saturday night. In the background you can see someone wearing a FenCon "Got Filk?" shirt, the hit of the convention. Right, others including the Bohnhoffs (right) and Daniel and Melissa Glasser listen and await their turn.

Tom Smith SteveMac does his Cousin Itt imitationLeft, Tom Smith performs his entry in the "Blue Moon" songwriting contest, "Ankle Biters" - a strange tale of (gasp!) wereSmurfs. Right, Steve Macdonald does his Cousin Itt imitation during Bill Roper's concert set.

Lady Mondegreen
Lady Mondegreen (sorry, I don't know who all these people are - can I get some help from the peanut gallery?) gets silly in the big finish to their concert set Saturday afternoon.

The Two Bills act out Casey at the Bat

Bill Roper and Bill Sutton act out "Casey at the Bat" as someone off-camera reads it early Sunday morning in the main filk circle.
