All right another great night to golf! Congrats to Corey Feller for carding the low round of the night 37! Once again we had to many "League & Super Skins" that went out last night to mention everyone but, all hats go off to Kevin Purtell for carding his 1st birdie of the year on number 5 which was also good enough for his first "League Skin", nice job!
Next Tuesday, June 21st is our first "Fun Night" of the year when we'll be playing a 2-Man Alternate Shot Format with a 4:30 P.M. Shot Gun Start. Please be at the course no later then 4:10 P.M. to get checked in and get out to your hole assignment. Everyone MUST get a riding cart Tuesday night so we can keep things moving along and hopefully finish up by 6:45 P.M. that's when our food will be delivered! Rules and pairing are below.
1. Each team will kick in $5.00 ($2.50 ea) to go toward the top 3 finishing teams. 1st place $40.00, 2nd place $25.00 & 3rd place $15.00. Please pay your teams $5.00 at the front desk when checking in.
2. Each team player will alternate drives (example) Paul & Kyle are a team: Paul has the tee shot on the 1st hole then the team plays alternate shot until the hole is completed. Kyle has the tee shot on the 2nd hole then the team plays alternate shot until the hole is completed. Etc.......
3. Golf Balls: Most people use different balls so here's an added rule: You may change balls or use your own during a hole if you are on the fairway or green only Mark the ball and replace it but, if your ball ends up in the rough, sand trap, fescue or fringe you must play that ball. IT MUST BE ON THE FAIRWAY OR GREEN ONLY. Not following the rules above your team will penalized 1 stoke for each infraction.
4. After your round give your scorecards to Don Duncan or Paul DeLange then enjoy some Mexican food from Solea's!!
