Stained Glass Window Front

I made this window  to fit in an octagon window that is 23" in diameter. It is made with the foil process. All glass pieces are cut from sheet stock. The hardest part is picking out the glass that has the colors you are looking for and then cutting it so the grain of the glass flows to represent the objects that you are replicating in a natural way. This window has 55 pieces of custom cut glass in it. It is also framed with a zinc frame. This picture is the way the window looks with lit from the front side. There is another picture that shows how it looks when lit from the back. There is a very distinct difference between the two.
