4 views of the same break directly adjacent to the Turtle Bay Hilton Resort, Oahu:

1. A nice lined up but slow right which broke right into the jagged volcanic rock of the point.

2. It also lines up left, which you could milk for a long ride but the paddle out was against the current.

3.Jumping into the break from the point. Foondeathwish.  That outside peak was 7-10 foot faces at times (east coast).

4.The break taken from the balcony of the Foonsuite- rarely more than 5 people at a time the whole week there.

While on Kauai, we spent a few days on the North Shore during a big swell. This was taken at Ke'e beach which is the farthest West you can drive before the Napali coastal area. Though there's no size reference, the wave I guessed was in the 2x-3x-o'head area. There was no one out and waves like this broke regularly during the whole hour we stayed there 3-5 waves per set. There was a nice little channel to go out but this thing looked like it was breaking  very shallow. The same day Hanelei Bay was breaking just overhead.
