On
May 3, 2011 at 6 p.m. in the upper room at the St. Joseph Activities
Center, Tiffin Serra Club met with prayer, following the 5:15 p.m.
mass at St. Joseph Church. A meal followed.
Joanne Brickner opened the
meeting with prayer, Fr. Joseph Szybka spoke
about the May crowning and that the Divine
Mercy Sunday service was well attended.
Dave Mileski introduced
Linda Molyet as the speaker of the evening, she
spoke about "adopt a semenarian or woman
religious". She is a CCD teacher from Our Lady Of Hope in Attica. Her
class and other classes adopted semenarians and
women religious. The students prayed for, sent letters and care packages to
their special person. Some of the semenarians
paid a visit to the class room, so the students could speak with them, the
students got connection that the semenarians were
real people. They also realized that just because people go to the semenary or convent, doesn't
mean they will become priests or sisters.

Serra Club Spring
Leadership Conference, Sat. May 14, 2011 was held at the upper room at St.
Joseph Activities Center, following the 8:30 a.m. mass at St. Joseph
Church.
The Serra of Tiffin had 8
in attendance, Mansfield had 2, Lima had 2. Yvonne
Dubielek, Assoc. Director of Toledo Diocese spoke
on Diocesan News/ Vocations Goals for year 2011.
Lunch was served, then many other topics were discussed.

Tiffin Serra Club met with prayer following the 5:15 p.m. mass at St.
Joseph Church. A meal followed, 2 guests were in attendance.

Brickner opened the meeting with prayer. Dave Mileski introduced Bill and
Betty Obringer as the speakers of the evening, " marriage as a vocation". They are part of a team for the "Engaged Couple
Conference" of St. Joesph Parish.
Joanne ended the meeting in prayer.

of the month at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Church.
