The yearly return of Tom to Southern California featured a reunion of USC
pals from the 1979-1984 era and Tom's cousins, the Youngs. The dinner took
place at the Tung Lai Shun Islamic Cuisine Restaurant, inside the San Gabriel
Square shopping mall, 140 W. Valley Blvd., San Gabriel, on Saturday, December
28, 2002.

Moments after this picture was taken, the gathered assemblage stabbed Bob
Ellis with their steely knives, then paraded his decapitated head on a pole
around the parking lot of the San Gabriel Square shopping mall. Afterwards
Doug Young and Susanne Foldes invited everyone back to their house in Eagle
Rock for martinis. Here is a recipe for a martini:
Martini Recipe:
--2 oz of gin
--A dash of extra dry vermouth
Stir or shake gin and vermouth with ice. Strain
into a cocktail glass. Garnish with one or two olives or a twist of
lemon.
