Who Tom is NOT:

Tom is not related to Stephen Chao, Rosalind Chao, Elaine Chao, or Manu Chao.
He is also not this guy: Tom Chao, Director of Engineering, DMEL
Nor is he the creator of: Tom Chao's Paper Money Gallery who has a very similar domain name: http://www.tomchao.com/!
And he is certainly not the Vietnamese shrimp dish: "Chao Tom" Many other recipes and mentions of this dish can be found on the web. Tom has never tried it.
