The University of New Mexico Department of Theatre and Dance presented Tom X. Chao's Cats Can See The Devil in a fully-staged reading directed by Henry Bial. Part of the Department's "Totally Random Tuesdays" series. One night only: Tuesday, October 14 at 7:30 pm in Theatre X on the UNM Campus.

Cats Can See The Devil returned in October and November of 2003! Under St. Marks, 10:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, Oct 24-25; Oct 31-Nov 1; Nov 7-8; Nov 14-15 and also on Sunday, Nov 16 at 5:00 pm. Featuring Kim "Freakout Under The Apple Tree" KATZBERG, returning from the Fringe Festival, and also our new cast members: Barbara KING, Andrea RYDER, Elizabeth SCHMIDT, and Paige YOUNG! The Confluence Theater Company presented staged readings of my tragicomedy, Summer, Deepening Then Gone, December 11-13. This presentation were the first for this script since its debut at the American Living Room Festival at HERE, in 1999 (when it was known as "The Universe of Despair").
