AUGUST MEETING recap -

Horace presented an interesting discussion about Seniors and some associated data:

- Ten percent of Seniors have children over 65 years old.

- In the USA, 16% of the population is over 60 years old and have 75-80% of the wealth.

- Women can expect to care for parents for more years than she did for her children.

His work on the Council of Aging and volunteer efforts at retirement communities leads Horace to recommend we all volunteer at Senior Citizen homes.... it makes you feel better.

We recognized the birthdays of Catherine Cooke and Betty Peck this month as well as the Wedding Anniversary for Donna and Roger Repp.

Roger Repp treated us to some Summertime music as well as some humor: "Who was the roundest Knight of the Roundtable? Sir Cumference.... He had too much π "
