Check the Goonswarm forums for the latest list of systems you can rat and mine in.
Taxes are set to 10%. This is used for a multitude of things and is sure to come back to you in some way.
No posting on the www.eve-online.com forums please. At least nothing political. At this time we feel it is best to lay low and keep to ourselves. Ship setups, market questions etc. are a-ok.
No shooting blues. Shoot all the hostiles you want and then go shoot some more.
No snotty nose talk in local. Remember, you are an Ultrapolite Socialite.
If you are on an op that is lead by a member of an allied corp, please let them have the loot as a nice gesture.

Info for New Socialites

Congratulations! You are now a proud member of The Ultrapolite Socialites! We look forward to having you being a part of our family! Now what do you do? Follow these steps and if you are confused as to what else needs to be done before you are able to fully enjoy your experience with us just drop a tell in the CORP channel.

Important note: Do not set your clone to U4-Q2V. This is a bug in the clone selection data - there are no medical facilities in U4-Q2V.

Register at http://goonfleet.com - when this is done please send Lenny an evemail with the username you used to sign up with, and please make it match your ingame name as close as possible. Once you have registered succesfully at http://goonfleet.com do this:

Log in using your username and password
At the top left there is a link called "User CP", click it
Once you have clicked it your control panel will open up. Near the bottom there is another link called "Group Memberships", click that
Now you have the page open up to all the corps and channels in GoonSwarm. Find us, The Ultrapolite Badassalites, and click the join button.
It will ask for a reason to join. This is a chance to exhibit your playful yet highly intelligent wittyness - type whatever there. We know who you are.
Contact Lenny ingame or via evemail and let him know this is all done.

Once you have access this will do 3 things - all using the same username and password that you initially registered with

Access to www.goonfleet.com forums - current and up to date happenings
Access to http://wiki.goonfleet.com - a boatload of information regarding everything from ship setups, to mission running, to proper GS conduct. Please take advantage of this wealth of information and try to find your answers here before asking around.
Access to the alliance Teamspeak servers - a must for succesful PVP ops

if you are Deaf Chick plug in that implant and if that doesnt work for you then we are going to sue Goonswarm
if you are shy about using TS that is fine, but you will be missing out on tons of fun aspects of the game. Besides, you don't have to talk if you dont want to.

Ask in the corp channel for the GoonSwarm channels and join them. We encourage you to participate in GoonSwarm ops (mainly because they are a blast), but doing so is entirely up to you.

Get to JLO-Z3, a system in The Scalding Pass region of the EVE universe. This is our home base and close to where we work from. Be prepared for a fairly harsh enviromnet - we are at war, after all. Just ask in game for an escort and someone will be happy to pick you up.
