Then, in story and song, Polnisch brings American history to life, carrying the audience along on Paul Revere’s ride in 1775, and to the deck of a ship where Francis Scott Key was inspired to write the Star Spangled Banner. Polnisch has been wearing the colorful suit during performances at school and civic functions since retiring as an engineer in 1992 |
