Taken while staying in the Himalayan village of Pisang on the fifth day of a three-week trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. At 10,500 feet and five days walk from the nearest road, it was quite frigid in the evenings as evidenced by the runny nose and weather-beaten, red cheeks on this little girl, playing in the center of her village. She had a flair for the dramatic - perhaps a budding actress - unabashedly posing for me several times. |
