Peggy’s Cove,

Nova Scotia,

Canada

Item Number—P132

This beautiful lighthouse sits on solid granite along the rugged Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia.  It was built in 1914 replacing the original lighthouse built in 1867.  During World War II it served as a radio station for the Royal Canadian Navy, and today it is a post office during the summer months with its own cancellation stamp.
