As the southernmost city in the continental United States, Key West it is only 90 miles from Cuba and 150 miles from Miami at the end of the scenic Overseas Highway which connects all the islands of the Florida keys with the rest of Florida. Key West is and has been a retreat for artists and writers – including Ernest Hemingway and Tennesee Williams. It is also famous for its beautiful sunsets which are viewed by spectators each evening at Mallory Square Dock in Old Town. . |
