Think globally, act locally

Aaron Luoma

A native of Northeast Ohio, Aaron has lived abroad for most of the past 15 years.  Residing in Japan for six and a half years and most recently in Bolivia has afforded Aaron the opportunity to visit more than 40 countries, always with his keen eyes and shutter ready.  Whether meandering the cobblestone streets of colonial Spanish Latin America searching for an old rustic door, or observing the stark natural beauty of the Bolivian high plateau, Aaron is enchanted with our diverse and beautiful world.

“In my photography, I try not to limit myself to one genre but strive to be in tune with anything aesthetic that strikes me.  I prefer to shoot in color to show the vibrancy of the world all around us that sometimes our naked eye fails to see.  I hope that through my photography I am able to relate my love and respect for other cultures and the awe I experienced when I was there and captured the images.”
