Gracia is a “retired” computer analyst who lives in Stow, Ohio, and has rediscovered her “creative self” by collaborating with her son, Aaron, in sharing their unique photographs with others at art shows. She cuts all the mats and selects the frames used to compliment the photos being sold. Traveling with her son or husband, she uses her camera to introduce people to the beauty and character of other cultures. She enjoys architectural themes and scenes from nature.
“My father always had his camera ready and captured many wonderful travel scenes and family images while growing up. Photography has become a ‘family affair’ which has brought a special closeness between my son and me. We both view this gift as one to be used to increase the appreciation of other cultures and thereby promote more peace and justice in the world.”
A portion of all sales goes to organizations which promote peace and justice, such as: Annunciation House, El Paso, Texas
Awards/Exhibits: · First place, Fine Arts division, Clifton Arts & Music Festival, June, 2004 · Honorable Mention, Christkindl Markt, November, 2005 · Best 2-Dimensional Work, YSU Art Festival, 2008 |
