This was taken in April of 2000 while I was helping build homes on a Habitat for Humanity site in the middle of the Philippine archipelago. Each morning I would see this glorious sunrise a little too late, finally getting up one dawn to capture this boy on the outskirts of the Habitat property with his oxen.
