Please remove the "Deceased" notation by my name. The news of my death has been greatly exaggerated! Despite the fact that I was the first (and only ????????????) MEDIVAC in the PACFLT SSBN force, the heart attack was not fatal and I went on to command USS Segundo (SS-398)

Hi, this is Rick Wagner. I was on the Gold crew of the Stonewall Jackson from 1966 to late 1969. I was a Mess Cook (twice), Seaman Gang, Helmsman-Planesman, Laundry Maid (we called it something else), SCUBA diver, and Sonarman. Got my Dolphins. Became ST3 through fleet exam. Stood sonor watches my last patrol, but never was in Sonar Gang, and got transferred to USS Permit in Pearl, where I served for dry-dock and sea trials until March 1970. Made six or seven patrols on Jackson. Longest--about 74 days. Shortest was 48. Great crew. Happiest days of my life. I'm a Television News Anchor in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. People can contact me at rwagner@abc27.com.

HI This is Denny muchow. I was on the Stonwall jackson in 1966-67. I was wondering if there is anyone who was there at the same time still around. I now live in southern Minnesota with my wife Marcy. We have two sons of which our youngest Dana, is a leuitenint in the Navy resently stationed at NORAD. If anyone remebers me give an email at marcy@newulmtel.net
Just dropped in to update my e-mail address. While here i went to the deceased members page, Gosh us old guys are really thinning out. It's still great to see things that rekindle old memories. Also I was wondering if anyone has heard from Bob Ehrler FTGI(SS) or Carl (Benny the bum) Benson FTG3(SS). Benny and Steve Dorr RM3(SS) and I were sharing a "snake ranch"when Steve Got killed when he took My bike for a ride.So besides the good times there were some that weren't so good also. Anybody know the whereabouts of Jerry Rutledge? As I recall he was either an ENC or MMC, later became a warrant. Was also the COB in 1969 (Blue).
