50 Round National Match Program

NRA Approved High Power Matches _______ Mar. 18,  April 15,  July 15,  Aug. 19.

Club Non NRA Matches__________________  Feb 19,  May 20,  June 17,  Sept. 16.  

Rules: All current NRA High Power rules will apply.

Eligibility: Open to all NRA classified competitors and WAC members with a valid High Power Competitor card.

Entry Fees: $20.00 for NRA matches and $15.00 for club matches. (No checks please).

Location: Wyoming Antelope Club dba Pinellas Shooting Range, 3700 - 126th Ave N,   Pinellas Park, Fl.

Squadding: Registration and target assignment begins at 0830 AM. Match starts at 9:30.

Classifications: The NRA classification system will be used.

Unclassified shooters will compete in the Marksman class or as decided by the Match Director.

Competitors with temporary classifications will compete in that corresponding class.

Rifles allowed:  NRA Service Rifle   Rules 3.1

                          NRA Match Rifle    Rules 3.3

                          NRA Any Sight Match Rifle/Tactical Rifle   Rule 3.3.2

Ammunition:  NRA Rule 3.17, provided by competitor.

Targets:           SR-1, SR-21, MR-31. 1 sighter target and 2 for score per frame.

Scoring:           Competitors will setup/store their assigned frames and score targets.

(Walk and paste).  

All cross fires including internal will be scored a miss.

 

 

Course of Fire:         NRA approved 500 point National match course

Match 1: Unlimited slow fire sighting shots and 20 record shots prone in 22 minutes. Single round loading only.

Match 2: 2 slow fire sighting shots in 2 minutes, then 1 string of 10 prone rapid fire with a magazine change, in 70 seconds.

Match 3: 2 slow fire sighting shots in 2 minutes, then 1 string of 10 shots sitting rapid fire with a magazine change  in 60 seconds.

Match 4: 2 slow fire sighting shots and 10 record shots standing  in a total time of 12 minutes. Single round loading only.

Match 5: Overall aggregate of Matches 1, 2, 3, & 4.

Awards: Club matches will not have awards. 

              NRA approved match awards will be given to the High Service Rifle shooter and High Match Rifle shooter in lieu of an overall aggregate winner.

 High Service Rifle winner must have a rifle that meets Service Rifle rules.

All other awards will be by shooter classifications with Match Rifle and Service Rifle being combined.

1.      An award will be made for 1st place in each class with three (3) or more competitors and an additional 2nd place award for six (6) or more competitors.

2.      Any classification with less than 3 shooters will be bumped up to the next classification for awards.

3.      Master and high master will only be combined together to make a class and unc/marksman through expert will be combined as necessary to make classes.

The one (1) award and out rule will apply.

Additional Information: Empty chamber indicators are required and are available for $2.00 each if you do not have one. Due to range location, competitors are required to keep all fired rounds on their targets. Help is available but please come with a 100 yard zero.

Off target misses or unsafe practices are justification for disqualification by the WAC High Power Director. Safety and WAC range rules are priority. In the case of disqualification from the match, any fees paid will not be refunded.

Some equipment such as spotting scopes and mats may be available for loan on a limited basis.
