High Power Rifle, Any Rifle/Any Sight, Sporter Rifle

(1) The High Power matches will be on the 4th Sunday of the month

unless noted on 2009 Match Program.  8:00 am

(2) Sporter Rifle matches are held on the first Sunday. 8:00 am

(3) Any/Any matches are held on the 2nd Sunday. 8:00 am

200 Yard High Power Rifle Match Schedule

Match dates for 2009 are March 21, May 16, July 18, September 19 and November 21.

Entry Fee for Matches 1 - 5             $20.00

 

 This is an NRA 800 point approved match.  NRA rules will govern. 

Arms.  The service rifle rule 3.1, 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 or the NRA match rifle rule 3.3 or 3.3.1.

 

Entry Fee for Special Match *             $6.00

 

*The special match will be Any Rifle/Any Sights & F-Class and will follow matches 1 - 5. 

Max. 5 sighting shots and 20 shots for record in 22 mins.

Match dates for 2009 are February 21, June 20, August 15, October 17, December 19.

These are NRA 500 point matches.  NRA rules will govern. 

Arms.  The service rifle rule 3.1, 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 or the NRA match rifle rule 3.3 or 3.3.1.

 

Any rifle with iron sights and minimum 5 round capacity may be used.  Rapid loading capability IS needed.

 

Registration          9:00 a.m.

Shooters Meeting  9:15 a.m.

Firing Begins           9:30 a.m.

 $12.00 entry fee covers registration.

NRA certification is available for an additional fee of $4.50.

 

Match 1:  Slow fire standing - 10 rounds & 2 sighters in 22 minutes on target SR1

Match 2:  Standing to sitting rapid fire - 10 rounds in 60 seconds on target SR1 (sighters optional and separate)

Match 3:  Standing to prone rapid fire - 10 rounds in 70 seconds on target SR21 (sighters optional and separate)

Match 4:  Slow fire prone - 20 rounds & 2 sighters in 22 minutes on target MR31

Match 5:  Aggregate of Matches 1 - 4

(No match scheduled for April due to Appleseed Rifle Program on April 18 & 19)
