|
Targeted Inspections are focused on individual and specific components of a house, which are not typically observed during a home inspection We currently offer targeted inspection and testing for the following health threats.
Carbon Monoxide: Carbon monoxide (CO) is an odorless, colorless gas that interferes with the delivery of oxygen in the blood to the rest of the body. It is produced by the incomplete combustion of fuels. Mold: Potential health effects and symptoms associated with mold exposures include allergic reactions, asthma, and other respiratory complaints. Radon: Radon is a cancer-causing, radioactive gas. You can't see radon. And you can't smell it or taste it. But it may be a problem in your home. Water Lead: Lead in drinking water can cause a variety of adverse health effects. In babies and children, exposure to lead in drinking water above the action level can result in delays in physical and mental development, along with slight deficits in attention span and learning abilities. In adults, it can cause increases in blood pressure. Adults who drink this water over many years could develop kidney problems or high blood pressure.
