What: Parables of the Kingdom, Part One.
Some of the most memorable teachings of Jesus were delivered as parables and are found in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. This study explores those parables crafted by Mark, and then turns attention to the same parables as they appear in Matthew with a slightly different twist.Where: Each group meets weekly in a group member's home
When: Sessions begin during the week of October 5 and continue for 6 weeks
We use the award-winning Six Weeks with the Bible series to help guide us through the meaning of Scripture and its application to everyday life. All biblical text is printed in the guide, which means no additional study aids are required.
Small groups meet in homes throughout the parish both mornings and evenings. We invite you to join an existing group, or you may form a new group with your own friends and neighbors. This study would be a great Lenten devotion.
