GEORGE ALLEN was born Abt. 1760, and died Bef. Jan 1807 in Oglethorpe County, GA. He married FRANCES "FANNY" BULLOCK, daughter of NATHANIEL BULLOCK and MARY HAWKINS. She was born Abt. 1765, and died Abt. 1839 in Madison County, GA.

George ALLEN served as a private in the Rev. War. His widow received a pension which Commenced on Feb. 21, 1815 for the amount of $48 per year. Wilkes County Georgia 1790 Tax Records show that George Allen owned 150 acres of third quality land in Wilkes County and 100 acres of third quality land in Franklin County Georgia. George Allen lived in Captain Hurley's District (N) in Wilkes County. James Allen, Nathaniel Bullock and Hawkins Bullock lived in same district.

Wilkes County Georgia 1791 Tax Records show that George Allen owned 155 acres of third quality land in Wilkes County and 30 acres of second quality land and 257 acres of third quality land in Franklin County Georgia. George Allen lived in the same district that he lived in 1790. James Allen, Nathaniel Bullock and Hawkins Bullock lived in same district.

Wilkes County Georgia 1792 Tax Records show that George Allen owned 287 acres of second quality land in Franklin County on the Oconee River watercourse next to Jordan Anderson and 2 slaves. Taxes paid in same district as in 1790 and 1791. James Allen, Nathaniel Bullock and Hawkins Bullock in same district.

Wilkes County Georgia 1793 Tax Records show that George Allen owned 100 acres of third quality land in Wilkes County on the Kittle Creek watercourse next to James Pullum and 287 acres in Franklin County Georgia on the Shoal Creek watercourse next to Jordan Anderson. George Allen owned 2 slaves.

George ALLEN is listed in the names of Revolutionary Soldiers who drew Land Lots, found in record in the Ordinary's office of Oglethorpe County, GA, Feb. 3, 1804. He received two draws.
1805
George ALLEN appeared on the Oglethorpe County Tax List of 1805, Lockett District, page 12. There were several other ALLEN's in same county. Stephen ALLEN and William ALLEN were listed in the same district as George.
1809
Stephen Allen listed as administrator of the Estate of George Allen in Oglethorpe County Deed of 25 Nov 1809. Stephen Allen sold 1/3 of 160 acres which was 53 acres to Winfrey Lockett. Two other parts were sold on 1st Monday in July.

To David Evans, that part of my tract of land that lies south west of the road leading to Washing Primeses and north of said Evans line. The
remainder of that tract to be equally divided between my daughters Susan Etcherson and Nemicess Vineyard. My daughter Mary Ann Evans shall
have my cupboard and large pott. The balance of my household and citchen furniture to be equally divided with my four daughters. The remainder
of my estate to be equally divided between all my children, to wit; Nathaniel Allen, Mary Evans, Susan Etcherson, Clarisi Evans, and Nemices Vineyard and their children after their death, paying David Evans for his trouble and expenses in my last illness.
