MARY ANN ARNOLD was born 05 May 1814 in Jackson County, GA, and died 04 May 1901 in Walton County, GA.

Walton County
I Mary Ann Smith of said County and State being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament.
Item 1st: I will and bequeath unto my son John S. Smith one fifth of my entire estate except the household and kitchen furniture and wearing apparel.
Item second: I will and bequeath unto my son Green W. Smith one fifth of my entire estate except the household and kitchen furniture and wearing apparel.
Item third: I will and bequeath unto my Daughter N. V. C. Millsaps one fifth of my entire estate and also one half of my household and kitchen furniture and wearing apparel less five hundred dollars $500.00 herein after bequeath unto my Grandson Marvil A. Millsaps, which amount is to be paid him and to be computed from the interest of this bequest to my daughter N. V. C. Millsaps.
Item Fourth: I will and bequeath unto my daughter Camma J. Hill one fifth of my entire Estate and one half of my household and kitchen furniture, she to have one of the feather beads and one bedstead.
Item Fifth: I will and bequeath unto the children of my daughter Mary Ann DeLaPerrier one fifth of my entire Estate except the household and kitchen furniture and wearing apparel to be divided among them as follows viz. To Mrs Lena Hosch five hundred $500.00 dollars and the remainder equally among and between Herschel DeLaPerriere, Earnest DeLaPerrier, Herman DeLaPerrier, Arthur DeLaPerrier and Clarence DeLaPerrier. They all being my Grand Children.
Item Sixth: I will and bequeath unto my Grandson Marvil A. Millsaps five hundred $500.00 Dollars under Item third of this my Will. This bequest to be paid out of amt. from the property and interest in my estate bequeathed to my daughter N. V. C. Millsaps.
Item Seventh: I nominate constitute and appoint my sons John S. and Green W. Smith Executors of this my last Will and Testament signed with my hand and sealed with my seal this the 13th day of Sept 1898.

The date recorded here is from the Green Wagner Smith Family Bible recorded in the DAR Book # 354 at the Georgia Department of Archives and History.
