Jesse Beauregard Jackson FREEMAN (30 Dec 1860 Dacula, Gwinnett Co. GA - 7 Jun 1922 Gwinnett Co. GA) bu. Pleasant Hill Methodist Cem., Dacula, Gwinnett Co. GA, son of Andrew John FREEMAN & Frances THORNTON, m. 1 Apr 1883 Gwinnett Co., GA, Georgia Anna BRAND (6 May 1862 Gwinnett Co. GA - 6 Apr 1946 Gwinnett Co. GA) bu. Pleasant Hill Methodist Cem., Dacula, Gwinnett Co. GA, daughter of William Williams BRAND and Elizabeth LOVELESS. Jesse lived his entire life in Dacula where he was a farmer and hunter. He was known as an expert shot and shipped birds by train to hotel restaurants in Atlanta. His nickname was Duge. His obituary posted in Lawrenceville, GA newspaper, THE NEWS HERALD, 8 Jun 1922, pg. 1.
