I am a descendant of Jesse Peters,Sr. and went into the DAR on him. We have located
his grave site near Tallapoosa, Ga.(Harolson Co., was Carroll Co.) My DAR Chapter and all
the descendants I can round up will have a Memorial Service at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The graves were destroyed in nearby woods by timbercutters so the marker will be placed at a nearby church.
