William WILLIAMS was born 1780 Mecklenburg Co., NC and died 1 Jan 1815 Camp Covington, Savannah, GA. He married 18 Oct 1802, Oglethorpe Co., GA to Martha (Patsy) PETERS. Patsy was born 1786 in Georgia and died 5 April 1862, Gwinnett Co., GA the daughter of Jesse PETERS.
William WILLIAMS War of 1812
William Williams widow Martha received a Pension for his service, Old War Widows File - #12085. Served in Captain Pope's Company. Georgia Militia as a Private (Musician).
After the death of William, Patsy married James LANDERS. They resided in Gwinnett County GA.
