About Transmission:
Transmission is Bill Page and Jason Draper. In February of 2004 they decided to throw a The Cure vs The Smiths Party. This was meant to be a one-off event, but since it went so well, they decided to throw more parties, that would cover a wider spectrum of music. The parties became known as "evenings of synth pop, alternative, and indie dance music". All Transmission parties are now held at Mohawk Place in Buffalo, NY.
