Groton Groton Old Home Days Parade and Concert

Saturday, August 20, 2011

WHEN:
1:45 p.m. sharp - Departure from Pittsford
The bus will leave from Pittsford Fire Department #2 (across from Pittsford/Mendon High School) at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, August 20th.

Please park cars in the back lot at the firehouse to allow fire department use of main lot while we are gone.
Many band members bring treats to share on the bus.
Lucinda will bring a cooler of soft drinks.
Bring your own additional beverages for the bus ride.

If you are bringing a guest, please notify Lucinda ASAP to ensure adequate bus seating.

4:00 p.m. - Arrival in Groton (108 E. Cortland St., Groton, NY)
Bus will drop the band off in front of the fire department.
Bring EVERYTHING you need for the parade.
Leave cases on the bus.
Bus WILL NOT BE available until after the parade.
The Groton Fire Department will provide an excellent supper of Italian food and soda.

6:00 p.m. - Parade step off

7:00-ish - Concert
Following the parade and short break, we will play a beer tent style (stand up) concert.

The fire department will provide hots, hamburgers, sausage and drinks at the beer tent.
9:30-ish p.m. - Return to the bus and journey back to fire house #2
