Parking:
Ample parking garages are located around the city, South Clinton, Main St, East Ave, and Woodbury, to name a few. There is also street parking
available on most side streets.
SHUTTLE:Free shuttle buses will run from 10:30 to 12:30 from the end of the parade to near its start at Plymouth Ave./Inner Loop - East Ave. These buses are provided so those participating in events at the county building can be taken to the parade's start after the events conclude.
PLEASE NOTE: The RPD typically blocks all traffic along the Parade route at about 11:30am.
Line-up location: (Watch the parade website at http://www.rochesterparade.com for details.) The band usually gathers at 11:45 at the Strathallan Hotel, 550 East Ave.
As of 3/9/11, we line up on Alexander between Charlotte and University). We are Division 13 (of 15), number 2, behind Whiskey River, and in front of North Greece Fire Department.
WEAR:
Uniform:- Dress warmly
Band pants
Band shirt
Band jacket and gloves
Band hat or a green hat
No ties as Lucinda is bringing green sequin bow ties
Black shoes or boots
Bring hand warmers if you would like.
MUSIC: We need only these pieces.
