15th Annual Rochester River ChallengePittsford Fire Department Band play at the 14th Annual Rochester River Challenge on Saturday, September 17, 2011. This is an inclusive community event and a Wounded Warrior Disabled Sports Project Event. Wounded Warriors will be invited to participate in the outrigger canoe sprint races and an all-expense paid weekend of activities in Western New York. Canoe races are from 9:30 to 12 and 1:14 to 4:30. Click here for more information. We will have the opportunity to get the race T-shirt and lunch after the ceremony. WHEN: 11:00 a.m. - Arrival at stage (leave plenty of time for parking and getting to stage) 11:15 a.m. - Warm ups 11:30 a.m. - Concert starts 12:15 p.m. - Play Armed Forces Salute and Star Spangled Banner at the Honor Our Heroes Ceremony.
