In Memorium - Cappy Gerace
5/6/11
Dear BJ, Cindy, and Members of the Pittsford Fire Dept. Band,
I can't thank you enough for coming out and sharing your great music at Cappy's memorial service last Sunday. Cappy would have been sooooo happy and honored that you did that--even down to including Trumpeter's Lullaby and his beloved "Sugar Blues." Betty was very, very happy you all did this for all of us.
May you continue to share the gift and enjoyment of music, and may you not have to do many memorial services of your own members!
Gratefully,
Pastor Dave Inglis

Mark your calendars! The Pittsford Fire Department Band will be playing at GEVA on Sunday, May 1, 2011, at the 7:00 p.m. show AND on Sunday, May 22, 2011, at the 2:00 performance of "The Music Man."
Before coming to the theatre for the performance, we need to simply need to memorize the "76 Trombones," polish it up to share it with the Rochester community.
On the afternoon of our performance, following the intermission of The Music Man, we will convene in our Nextstage and prepare for our ÒgrandÓ entrance toward the end of the play. From the rear of the house, we will enter and join us for the climactic finish of the play Ð as well as the ensuing curtain call!
See http://www.gevatheatre.org/events/tmm-band-project.php for more information. We are playing the Concert version. Check your e-mail for information on how to get the music. Practice and memorize now!
